Out Of Touch With God

Until we have Christ in charge of our hearts and lives we are out of touch with Him. When we are are out of touch with Him we are out of touch with everything that is indispensable. We are out of touch with eternal life. We are out of touch with His power. We are out of touch with His love. We are out of touch with His blessings, temporal and eternal. We are out of touch with joy. We are out of touch with satisfaction and peace. We are out of touch with truth. We are out of touch with faith. We are out of touch with wisdom. We are out of touch with His purposes for us and our lives. Unbelievers are ALWAYS out of touch with these things. Believers have a wonderful opportunity to be in touch with these things but they blow it altogether too often. When they get to heaven they will ALWAYS be in touch with God.

The relationship that individuals have with the Bible will be IDENTICAL to their relationship with God. The same individuals who do not have the Bible in charge of their hearts and lives do not have Christ in charge of their hearts and lives. To the same extent that we are out of touch with the Bible, we will be out of touch with the indispensable things of God. If we are immersed in the Bible, we will be immersed in the indispensable things of God. If we are only ankle deep in the Bible, we will only be ankle deep in the indispensable things of God. If we occasionally sample the Bible, we will only occasionally sample the indispensable things of God. If we miss out on the Bible, we miss out on the indispensable things of God. If we avoid the Bible, we avoid the indispensable things of God. If we reject the Bible, we reject the indispensable things of God. If we run away from the Bible, we run away from the indispensable things of God. If we seek to read and hear the Bible at every opportunity, we can always be in touch with the indispensable things of God.
